This server is sponsored by The Tech, MIT's oldest and largest newspaper. Since 1881, we have provided the MIT community with continuous news service.

The Tech is published every Tuesday and Friday during the school year. We publish weekly in January, monthly during the summer, and daily during the 10-day Residence/Orientation "Week."

Our staff is mainly composed of student volunteers, although a number of alumni lurk around our offices from time to time. If you are interested in joining The Tech, stop by room W20-483 on any Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday night during the semester. Alternatively, send mail to general@the-tech.mit.edu. All volunteers are welcome, and no experience is necessary!
