The forerunner of the Taj Mahal, Humayun's Tomb is a place to see in
the morning when there are hardly any tourists about - and plenty of
gardeners keeping the grounds immaculate. Humayun is the least
celebrated Great Mughal Emperor, famous for being conquered by his
eastern neighbor Sher Shah and driven off to Persia where he had to
beg for help to get his empire back. This tomb reminds the world that
he did get it back.
