Jaipur is the former capital of the other most famous princely state of Rajastan, and it too boasts its magnificent palace, though the public areas of this particular palace seem less magnificent and sumptuous than those in Udaipur. The most impressive items on display are the human-size silver water jars used by the maharana to carry Ganges water for personal consumption during a state visit to London.
