Jaipur is the former capital of the other most famous princely state
of Rajastan, and it too boasts its magnificent palace, though the
public areas of this particular palace seem less magnificent and
sumptuous than those in Udaipur. The most impressive items on display
are the human-size silver water jars used by the maharana to carry
Ganges water for personal consumption during a state visit
to London.
