After 24 hours riding in buses from Vientiane, and a fast motorcycle-taxi ride to the border, I reached the crossing from Thailand at around 7 am. The bustling scene includes vendors coming and going across the border, and the trademark orange-vested motorcycle-taxi-drivers pushing their way through the throng.
