Scenery from Luang Prabang and Vientiane. During the Vietnam War these
karst mountains were the battleground between the Hmong and the
Communist Pathet Lao, supported by the Viet Cong. Our Luang
Prabang-Vientiane bus had around 50-60% Westerners on it.
