    Tiradentes After three nights in Ouro Preto, we took a taxi for three hours to Tiradentes, a small town named after the same Tiradentes who led the rebellion in Ouro Preto. (Tiradentes had been born nearby the town that now bears his nickname.)
These photos are of our pousada, the Solar do Ponte. I spent one whole
day reading in the lawn chair in the yard. I finished off "The News
from Tartary" by Peter Fleming, which I found in the pousada library.
