A few miles down the coast from Puerto Jiminez I found a nice American-run eco-lodge to relax in for a few nights while listening to the sounds of the surf - not to mention the constant volleyball game being played in the main grounds. Once, while walking around the property, I stumbled on the American owner sitting outside painting a picture of the heliconia plant.
