Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
Just north of Lijiang is the high mountain ridgeline of Jade Dragon
Snow Mountain, or Yulong Xueshan. A cable car takes tourists to 4500
m, where there is a walkway up to 4680 m. We got stranded on the mountain
for almost three hours when high winds slowed the operation of the
cable car back down.
