First bend in the Yangtze

The day after the big hike we hired a taxi to drive us to the first bend in the River Yangtze, known as the Jinsha Jiang in this section. The village at that spot was much more authentic and untouched than Lijiang, though we saw a handful of visitors. The main restaurant was in a red colunnade. We ordered by pointing to the vegetables and meats we wanted, which arrived stir-fried soon after. There weren't any other customers besides some card-playing soldiers.
