Wenbi monastery
Another taxi ride brought us to the top of a hill near Lijiang to see
the Wenbi monastery. The air was thick with low chanting, horns
bellowing, and drums beating. Outside, workers were adding new
sections to the monastery and a new plaza ... preparing for tourists
that were nowhere to be seen when we were wandering about.
