My friend Yiyang and I visited Jiuzhaigou for a weekend in Spring 2013. The weather was perfect most of our stay, and due to recent news reports there were far fewer tourists than normal. The scenery and bizarre blue lakes blew me away.

This first page highlights just the most colorful ponds and lakes we saw during our roughly 24 km walk from top to bottom of the Jiuzhaigou valley.
