On my way back to China we flew right over Tokyo and Mt. Fuji, an unexpected surprise.
Hawaii 2013:
On our last day we visited the formal royal palace and took the audio tour. The palace is small but very elegant and modern (electric lights and other conveniences). Its story is intertwined with the sad overthrow of the Hawaiian royalty by American planters in the late 1800s.
