Arrival in Cusco
I arrived in Cusco after an overnight flight from Lima. There I met
Elaine, Mark, Susan, and Diane, along with the staff of SAS Travel,
which handled our Inca Trail tour and arranged a driver to
Urubamba. We learned that the Spanish spelled Cusco with a Z to play
on the Quechua word for "dog" - only recently has it been spelled with
an S, and sometimes it is written as "Qosqo" to indicate its Quechua
origin. This photo is in the main square (Plaza de Armas).
