I dragged Dave to the Cafe Riche on Talaat Harb, in the center of the old colonial era downtown. Cafe Riche has been a literary hangout for a century and is also thought to be where Nasser and the Free Officers planned the overthrow of King Farouk. The place has great atmosphere but it was slightly deserted due to ramadan.
