For lunch in Xi'an I visited the Muslim Quarter, which has dozens of street stalls with kebabs and various types of bread pancakes. Kebabs and a pancake cost $1.

The second photo shows the entrance to the Mosque, complete with Arabic inscriptions on both sides of the entrance. Xi'an was the eastern terminus of the Silk Road.
