Charlene and Min also took me to explore the Olympic stadium (Bird's Nest) and swimming center. We could also see the fireworks from the Gala celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the PRC. Beijing was totally clear during my visit and the temperature was perfect for just wandering around enjoying the night air.
