Our hotel, the Leningradskaya, conveniently located adjacent to the train stations for St. Petersburg and the Trans-Siberian. It was one of Stalin's Seven Sisters - squat, poorly-designed skyscrapers in an eclectic style intended to showcase Moscow and Communism in the late 1940's. The hotel is now run by Hilton.
